Carer's Allowance: life after transformation

From the photographer: RHS Wisley - Oct 2011 - Caring Candid - Sharing a Joke While walking around the gardens at Wisley I happened to see this wonderful photo opportunity. I remember me pushing my Mother around here a few years ago recalling just how many steep slopes there are so to this beautiful girl quite happily sharing a moment of laughter with her companion brought me great joy. I have no idea what the relationship between the two women is as I didn't get the chance to have a conversation with them, unlike me, I know, but there did seem to be a close bond which made the whole moment even more heart-warming.

Allon Lister and I recently paid what is probably our final visit to our old friends at the Carer’s Allowance Unit in Preston where we had helped build the Carer’s Allowance Digital Service.
