Ash is the Director of the Government as a Platform programme of work at GDS. His team are collaborating with colleagues across government and build shared platforms and components, (eg service designs, toolkits, platforms, data and hosting), which will make it easy to assemble digital services.

Ash previously worked on the transformation programme at GDS.

We spoke recently at a roundtable in Parliament, organised by the All Parliamentary Group for Design and Innovation (APDIG). At the session, ‘Designing the next generation of government services’, we talked about why GDS is making service design a priority.
